HOW TO APPLY NEW SERVICE TAX NUMBER
Applying service tax number is very very very easy you just need 10 minutes for that, so if u Want to apply service tax number just follow these few simple steps-
1 Open your browser and go to wwww.aces.gov.in and select service tax from above given options
2 Select new user and enter the required details to become new user we will get the confirmation for becoming new user on your email address
3 After you login your account at service tax go to REG option REG refers to registration.
4 After the above procedure you need to completely and truly fill ST-1 which only needs basic information
5 To check your division and range code select the option know your location
6 After you finish filling with ST-1 form and submitting the same please take a print out of submitted form and acknowledgement as well
7 Once you complete you online procedure you just need to submit the hard copy of required documents like address proof, Xerox copy of PAN no. Along with printed ST-1 form to your location service tax office with in 7 days
8 The Service Tax Department will issue service tax no. If they find fit in FORM No. ST-2
