Companies law amendment bill introduced in Lok Sabha

The government Friday introduced a bill in the Lok Sabha to amend the companies law.
The Companies (Amendment) Bill 2014 was introduced by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
There are as many as 14 changes proposed in various provisions of the companies law passed by the previous government.
The bill also proposes punishment for illegal money pooling activities, amid rising instances of people getting duped by such fraudulent schemes. (Business Standard)
