MCA conducted 282 investor awareness programmes in October

During the Current Financial Year, a total of 801 Investor Awareness Programmes have been organized by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in various parts of the country (till the end of October) through its 3 Professional Institutes: Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. During the last month i.e. October, a total of 282 programmes were organized.
During the last Financial Year a total of 1,986 Investor Awareness Programmes were organized. For these Programmes, an amount of Rs. 5 crore has been earmarked in the budget of the Ministry.
In recent months, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has started organizing the Investor Awareness Programmes in the rural areas of the country also. For this the Ministry has engaged the services of CSC e-Governance Services India Limited.
