Naina Lal Kidwai becomes first woman President of FICCI

Naina Lal Kidwai on Saturday took over as President of FICCI, becoming the first woman to head the leading industry body.
FICCI said in a statement at the conclusion of its Annual General Meeting in New Delhi Kidwai, 55, is the first woman and professional manager to be elected as President of the chamber.
Kidwai succeeds R V Kanoria of Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Ltd. Chairman of Xpro India Ltd and Digjam Ltd,Sidharth Birla, also has been elected as Senior Vice-President of FICCI.
