CYBER FRAUD WITH PRACTICING CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT BY HACKING HIS ID AND PASSWORD AND FILING OF FORM 3CB-3CD USING THIS ID...

WHAT SHOULD BE THE ROLE OF CENTRAL LEADERSHIP IN THIS MATTER?

A Case of Cyber Fraud is repoted in the Dainik Jagran of 14th December, 2013. In this case, professional ID and password was hacked, of Faridabad based Chartered Accounatnt and form 3CB-3CD and e-returns, filed using the profile of that Chartered Accounatnt.

As per the news Police Complaint has been filed, but from the version of Police, it seems either they do not have knowledge of cyber crime or they have become biased.

Will President of ICAI, will do any thing in this matter, to safeguard the interest of the members of the ICAI or will leave the member to fight on his own? To day it happened to this member, tomorrow it may happen to any other member of the ICAI. Do not you thnk, our Central Leadership, should immedaitely take up this matter, by giving a press release and taking the matter with CBDT...
