The Institute from time to time is making investment of its surplus funds as per the provisions of the Section 18(2) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 as amended by the Chartered Accountants (Amendment) Act, 2006, which requires that the investment be made in any Government security or in any other security approved by the Central Government.
Accordingly, we invite the proposals for the appointment of the Portfolio Advisor for investment of funds of ICAI. The Investment of the ICAI includes General Fund, Chartered Accountants Benevolent Fund, Chartered Accountants Students Benevolent Fund, S. Vaidyanath Aiyer Memorial Fund, PF Trust Fund and Earmarked Funds which is around Rs. 600 Crores in a year to be invested at different point of time.
We further state that the Institute will not pay any consultancy charges/any other fee for the same.
