ICAI to set up Centre of Excellence in Odisha's capital city

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has proposed the state government to set up a Centre of Excellence in Bhubaneswar. A team of ICAI members led by the ICAI All India President Jaydeep Narendra Shah met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat here today and had a meeting in this regard.
At the meeting, Shah requested the Chief Minister to provide 10 acres of land for the proposed Centre. He said that the proposed Centre would provide quality training on financial management to government and non-government employees.
It may be mentioned that ICAI has set up Centre of Excellence in Jaipur, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Principal Secretary, Finance Jugal Kishore Mohapatra was present at the meeting.
