NFRA Cracks Whip on Audit Firms / Auditors for Deficiencies

The National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA) has issued a series of orders this week, imposing sanctions on audit firms and individual partners for deficiencies in performing statutory audits, showed the orders posted on the website of the regulator.

Order in the matter of Coffee Day Global Limited against M/s ASRMP & Co., CA A. S. Sundaresha, CA Madhusudan U A, and CA Pranaav G. Ambekar, under Section 132(4) of the Companies Act 2013.

Order against M baskaran in the matter of DHFL Branch Audit.

Order against Harish Kumar T K in the matter of DHFL Branch Audit.

Order against CA Sam Varghese in the matter of DHFL Branch Audit.

Order against CA Mathew samuel in the matter of DHFL Branch Audit.

Order in the matter of MACEL against CA Lavitha Shetty, under Section 132(4) of the Companies Act 2013 for the FY 2018-19.
