ICAI CPT June 2014 Admit Cards available for Download

Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has released the Admit Cards for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) to be held on June 22, 2014. Candidates can download and print their Admit Cards for the June 2014 exam by entering CPT Registration Number or Bar Code as printed on the examination application form and their Personal Identification Number (PIN) selected by the candidate at the time of filling forms.

As per a decision by the Examination Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) physical admit cards will be sent to those candidate having submitted physical examination application forms only. Physical admit cards will not be sent to candidates having submitted their application forms online.

Both forms of the admit card i.e. physical copy received through post and digital copy downloaded from online will be accepted for the June 2014 CPT exam. However, for the admit card to be valid, the candidate's photograph and signature should be clearly visible. If the photograph/signature is not clearly visible, candidates will be required to submit a copy of their photo id with signature attested by a CA/Gazetted Officer/Principal of School/College to the Invigilator at the examination.

The June 2014 session of the CPT exam will be held on June 22 with the first session (morning session) being held from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM for the subjects of Fundamental of Accounting (60 marks) and Mercantile Laws (40 Marks). The second session (afternoon session) will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for the subjects of General Economics (50 marks) and Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks).

The Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is held twice a year for admission to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in the Integrated Professional Competence Course, the entry level in becoming a Chartered Accountant. Registration is available after class 10 although exams can be given only after 10+2 (in any stream although mathematics gives an advantage).
