The bankers association has stirred up a hornets nest by offering an average pay increase of 2% to employees amid mounting non-performing loans and financials losses.
UFBU demanded adequate rise in salary and improvement in other service conditions as well as expeditious and early wage revision settlement, .
"We call upon all our unions and members to implement the agitation programme successfully," All India Bank Employees Association general secretary Rajen Nagar said.
Unions demanded wage revision settlement to include all officers upto scale VII.
