CCI launches a Knowledge Partnership Initiative (KPI) with Prominent Law Schools

Competition Commission of India (CCI) has launched a Knowledge Partnership Initiative (KPI) with prominent law schools in India. The objectives of the initiative are to build a strong knowledge base in the field of competition law, to promote competition law compliance in India and expand the outreach of competition law.
The first meeting under the initiative was organized at the Competition Commission of India office on September 14, 2012. The meeting chaired by Mr. Ashok Chawla, Chairperson, CCI was attended by Vice Chancellors and Professors of ten law schools, viz, NLSIU Bengaluru, NALSAR Hyderabad, NUJS Kolkata, NLS Delhi, NLU Jodhpur, RGNUL Patiala, NLUJA Guwahati, NLUSRL Ranchi, and ILS Pune.
It was decided that law schools will partner with CCI in various identified areas relating to research, education and advocacy.
