Petrol prices slashed by 78 paise per litre

Petrol price has been slashed by 78 paise, a litre in Delhi. Petrol in Delhi will cost 65.64 rupees per litre against the present 66.42. This will come in to force from midnight tonight.
Petrol will cost 82 paise less in Kolkata and Mumbai and 83 paise less in Chennai. This is the second reduction in two weeks. This follows firming of international prices.
But, State-owned oil companies have hiked Aviation turbine fuel - ATF - price by 3.7 per cent. This will also come in to force by Midnight tonight. This is the third increase in rates in a month.
The price of ATF at Delhi has been raised 2,312 rupees per kilo litre to cost 64, 622 rupees. It will cost 65,650 rupees in Mumbai.
