The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is all set to start its online facility aimed at enhancing knowledge base and updating the skills of chartered accountants across India.
“To enhance the knowledge base of members and chartered accountancy firms, the ICAI has initiated an e-library and a knowledge portal which include blogs, discussion forums and CA Net-book facility. The portal will offer downloadable software useful for office management,” said G Ramaswamy, president of ICAI.
Similarly, the institute was also planning to start an ICAI web TV to provide support to the members for continuing their professional education.
The website would host educative videos to enable members to download lectures of eminent speakers and watch them at their convenience, he added.
