Gurgaon Police have sought approval of the director general of police (DGP) to hire a CA to help them investigate the alleged fraud at Reebok . "We have sought approval of the DGP to hire a chartered accountant since this case involves financial intricacies. The CA can understand the irregularities easily. Our teams are on the job and are collecting all related documents and evidences in this case," said Maheshwar Dayal, DCP (East) and supervisory officer of the special investigation team (SIT).
Police have constituted four teams under SIT to probe the matter. On Tuesday, one of the teams traced at least 10 bank accounts of the two accused — former MD Subhinder Singh Prem and ex-chief operating officer Vishnu Bhagat — in Delhi and Gurgaon. Sources said these accounts had been opened both in public sector and private banks. They added that they have asked the banks to provide two years' statement of all the accounts of the accused . The FIR lodged by Reebok India accuses the two of Rs 870 crore fraud. (Times of India)
