FM Nirmala Sitharaman to present Union Budget 2021-22 in Lok Sabha at 11 AM

The Union Budget 2021-22 will be presented in the Parliament today. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Budget in the Lok Sabha at 11 AM. The Union Budget this year for the first time will be available only in digital format. It can be accessed through the mobile app UNION BUDGET both on android and iOS platform. The App can also be downloaded from the Union Budget Web Portal (www.indiabudget.gov.in). The App has been developed by the National Informatics Centre under the guidance of the Department of Economic Affairs.

In his statement to the media before the commencement of the budget session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had expressed confidence that the Budget 2021-22 would be seen as part of the packages announced by the Finance Minister over the past 10 months to offset the impact of Covid-induced lockdowns.
