BSE on Friday cancelled about 1,350 trades done during the pre-open session in which several of the frontline stocks witnessed wild fluctuations. The exchange said that there was a technical glitch in the trading system on Friday morning that led to such major price swings.
Dealers said that stocks like TCS, Reliance Industries and HDFC Bank witnessed major swings that unnerved a number of traders. "Following a technical glitch in the trading system, BSE announced annulment of certain trades and orders," a release from the bourse said. (Times of India)
