Special IT return receipt counters for Delhi

The income tax department has set up special I-T return receipt counters in Delhi. People having income from salary can file their I-T returns at the counters in Mayur Bhavan, Connaught Place till tomorrow.

According to the department, I-T returns will later on be only accepted at the new I-T office at Civic Centre near Connaught Place on 26th, 27th and 30th of this month from 10 am to 5 pm.

However, taxpayers can submit their I-T returns on the 31st from 10 am to 8 pm, which is the deadline for filing returns. Unlike previous years, there will be no counters at Pragati Maidan this year for filing IT returns.
