Whats is the effective date of Schedule VI & IFRS.

evised Schedule vi is applicable from financial year 2011-12

Revised schedule VI will be applicable from the assessment year 2012-13. But for IFRS we have to still wait for publication date

20-Apr-2011 , 09:00:56 amWith respect to Schedule VI..a notification has been issue releasing a revised set of Schedule VI. The notification shall come into force for the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account to be prepared for the financial year commencing on or after 1.4.2011”. It means all the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account for the Financial year 2011-12 would be prepared as per revised Schedule VI. As far as IFRS is concerned, there is not notification in respect of applicability of the same.
