Depending upon the investment involved and AS on fixed assets, in case the amount of investment exceed rs 5000 and wifi equipment have substantial impact on the efficiency of business, the same can be possibly categorized under IT related equipment under plant and machinery head

Dear the same depends on the policy of the company to company. If the amount involved in purchasing the Wi-Fi system is substantial and life of the same is more than than a year then the same should be capitalized.
