Please Help: Issued Cheque

i would like to know about new amendment that from today what ever the cheque/Draft is going to issue only valid for 3 months but what about those which have already issued previously from today. so for that cheque time difference will 6 month or 3 months. Please remove this doubt.

the query raised by you is very obvious.... but when this notification was passed it was to be effective from 1/4/12 and not retrospectively thus 3 months validity is applicable from 1/4/12 and not on cheques issued previosly...

Dear the cheque/DD issued before 01.04.2012 are having validity of 6 months.

02-Apr-2012 , 12:01:47 amthis new amendment is for those cheques which are issued from 1st april 2012 onwards. those cheques which are issued before 1st aprilmeans earlier from 1st april have valid for 6 months itself
