Queries:
1. Our excisable sale is less than 150 lacs, can we claim SSI status despite of collecting excise on 2 invoices (no 6 & 9).?
2. Is there any excise duty implication on the first 2 sales. If we continue to be SSI for 2014-15.
3. We are ready to pay excise duty in cash on (6th & 9th) invoices, where we have charged.

14-Oct-2015 , 04:25:21 pmAccording to ur query, on what basis you have charged the excise duty.whether you had given letter to the department, that you will avail the benefit of notification no.08/2003. If not, then you have to pay the central excise duty on all bills i.e. not only the bills on which you had charged the excise duty.
