A Person is a contractor taking a project in which he receives unstiched cloth(Input). He stiched that cloth with using his material like thread etc.. whether it is service or manufacture????

29-Jul-2013 , 04:15:04 pmTaxable service under the law included designing of goods intended to be worn by human being. If you are only involved in stitching of clothes and not any designing activity. Hence you will not be liable to payment of service tax.
