Dear Sir, We are Manufacturers of fasteners based at Ludhiana. We want to know if our sales reaches 1.5 Crore but our purchase of finished goods is of 50 Lakhs, we have to obtain excise number or Not ?

16-Feb-2012 , 10:50:03 amYes dear, U have to obtain registration. Also once turnover crosses Rs. 90 Lacs, assessee has to give intimation to Excise Dept.
