Is there any limit for FOREX sending into India by way of gift? What would be consequences if the recipient is Pakistan citizen receiving the FOREX into India ?

22-Dec-2017 , 08:05:35 pmThere is no limit for sending of funds into India as a gift. If the recipient is a Pakistani resident. The question arises which type of account he/she is holding. It is the duty of the bank to ensure the genuineness of transaction. In case of any suspicion Bank may call for additional clarification or documents.
