A audit firm having turnover below 20 lacs, require registration under GST if the firm audit bank audit of branches outside state or audit branches within the state but bill raise to ZO/HO situated outside state.

31-Jul-2017 , 04:35:55 pmSupply of service would be considered as interstate if location of supplier and place of supply is in 2 different states. Place of supply in case supply is made to a registered person is location of such person. So in your case bank would be registered and it would be in different state. So it would be inter state supply and thus liable for compulsory registration.
