what is gst on housing society. on what value they pay tax. do they get input credit - on what

29-Aug-2017 , 08:26:13 pmThe Housing Society is exempt upto 20 lacs. but when this limit increase and monthly contribution of per member is more than Rs.5000/- than it is taxable @ 18%. Means if contribution per member is less than Rs.5000/- per month, the housing society is not taxable even if limit exceeds Rs. 20 lacs.
