is it mandatory to gross up amount?
if we have paid 50000 and forgot to deduct tds @10%
afterwards if we want deduct tax then it will be 5000 or 5556?

It should be 5556

09-Jan-2014 , 01:34:30 pmThe question is not clear , tax is deduct under which section.... it will gross up 5556 and it it is deduct U/d 94C then it will be gross up 50505 0r 51020.. depend on the situation
