Just wanted to know that if a company paid the Bonus in mid of the year then TDS on Bonus would be deducted from the employees in one shot in bonus part or it can be recalculated along with monthly salary by considering the bonus amount

23-Aug-2023 , 06:47:53 amAccording to Section 17(1) Salary includes any fees, commission, perquisites or profits in lieu of or in addition to any salary or wages;i.e.Bonus.So it will be part of the Salary and TDS is to be Deducted on the Basis of Annual Salary Calculated/Estimated.
