online return has been filed but acknowledgement not sent, whether i have to mention earlier acknowledgment for revised return?

Yes, Giving acknowledgement number in the revised return is mandatory.

yes you have to give orginal return acknowledgement number in the revised return

without the acknowledgement no and date IT return cannot be revised.

Dear first of all you have to submit Acknowledgement of the original return. if the same is shown as received then only you are eligible to submit the revised return.
If the Acknowledgement of the original return does not received to them the return can not be deemed to filed/submitted.

thanks for replying. i want to make it more clear for which i want to know as i dont send the earlier acknowledgement, it will be cancelled after 120 days automatically. and i send the signed copy of acknowledgement of second return mentioning it as an original. so what will be consequences?
