an individual has income from interest only. his income exceeds 160000. but interest has not received yet but on due basis he paid tax to govt.But later he got only 100000 as interest as full settlement. can he claim tax refund from govt. that he paid to govt.

In the instant case, revised return (if within the time period prescribed) can be filed and accordingly refund can be claimed.
