wat is the diff between tax relief and tax rebate and is there any relief to individual tax payer on purchase of personal computer??

Now a days there is no tax rebate exist. Tax relief is allowed only in case of receipt of arrear salary. So purchase of PC doesn't attract provision of such relief.

12-Jul-2012 , 04:13:33 pmno there is no such provision in income tax relating to relief to individual tax payer on purchase of computer..However if such computer are using in his business or profession then he may claim depreciation.
