for the sale of property, can long-term capital gains tax be calculated at the rate of 10% without indexation?

Could you explote little more your quarry, as i am understanding you want to know about income tax provisions?
if i am not wrong it is possible without indexation and considered as short term and apply provision

14-Jul-2012 , 11:14:39 amNO.. indexation is necessary in case of long term capital gain on sale of property.. however this benefit i.e. tax on capital gain @ 10% without indexation is available only in case of long term arising from sale of listed securities.
