Please Help: Income Tax

An individual has deposited the first installment of advance tax on 15th Sep for 5000/- rupees and at the end of year his income tax payble was nil and he did not file his return with the Deptarment and the date of filing has expired now what would be the repercussions it. Should he file his return??????????????

if he want to claim for refund of this tax he has to file.

Without filling the return you will not get any refunds.

07-Jul-2011 , 10:23:07 amIs it possible to file the belated return u/s 139(4), i mean the due date of filling the belated return also expires ????? or tell me the Financial year in which he has deposited the Advance tax then only anybody can respond.......
