Hi ALL, My question is whether two members can create HUF i.e. Husband and Wife.

As per my opinion, Husband and Wife cannot create HUF.

If there is any male member who has right to get some share from ancestral property and even seperate mele member with wife can creat HUF.One Male member is required.

To create HUF a husband and wife is required and then a bank account needs to be opened. Then PAN card can be obtained.

04-Aug-2011 , 01:29:56 amA husband & wife cannot create new HUF. One male sibling is necessary for creating new HUF e.g by getting gift etc. Of course, a new HUF with husband and wife can get created if some share is devolved into it from higher HUF on its complete partition.
