What is the time of deduction of tds on salary ,and how can we calculate average rate of deduction

TDS on salary can be deduct on monthly basis or year end basis as per slab which will be applicable.

11-Apr-2013 , 01:33:25 pmTDS on salary must be deducted monthly and deposited as TDS is deposited normally. calculate TDS on salary as taking normal slab rates applicable to employee & divide the total TDS by 12 means Total TDS/12= Monthly TDS.
