Whether accrued interest on NSC is allowed for deduction? If such interest is received during the year, is your answer will be different?

03-Jul-2012 , 03:08:59 pmyes the accrued int. on nsc will be allowed as a deduction u/s 80c but in year of receipt it will not be allowed as a deduction
