Whether sec 194C would attract on cultivation,cleaning & levelling of land or not.

Section 194 c will be applicable only in case where contractor and subcontract existed otherwise not.

24-May-2011 , 10:07:12 amsec 194C will attract tds laibility on payment to contractor/sub contractors. contractor includes a person who is supplying the labour for work. therefor in cultivation cleaning and levelling of land contract will attract the provision of sec 194C.
