if an Assessee has more than one business (say A co. & B co.) or has one business more than one branch ..whether he is required to obtain different TAN for different businesses or branches.

31-Jan-2013 , 09:12:33 pmHi, Yes Ravi, an assessee needs to obtain different TAN. Like, if he has branches in Delhi, Mumbai., then he is required to apply for new TAN for Delhi and new for Mumbai. Means there is no centralized TAN.
