Please Help: Transfer of files under income tax act

One of my client registered office transferred to kolkata from delhi in the year 2001 but his case proceedings are still going on from delhi.
He has file many letters for transfer of case but nothing gone fruitful.
can any one tell me the exact procedures how i initiate for transfer of case from delhi to kolkata in the department.
Please revert back asap.

Sir, The problem which u r facing is very genuine to all, the remidy which we use in our office for our clients is that, we just post aur changed address letter with a proof of same via registered post & submit the same to CIT which is a valid proof for us & ask the ITO of Kolkatta to send a mail from kolkatta to delhi ITO to transfer the case to kolkatta. Thanks
