Please Help: updation of data base with incometax deptt. w.r.t change of gender

after correction in PAN of gender same is not being updated in income tax deptt. data base and as such wrong assessment being done and demand being raised based on wrong gender

Dear SK Mittal,

You are requested to send a letter regarding at the following address:Income Tax Pan Service Unit, 3rd Floor, Sapphire Chambers, Near Baner Telephone Exchange, Baner, Pune 411 045 addressing the issue.

Further, you can scan the acknowledgement (through which you have applied for updation)and mail it to 'pan@nsdl.co.in' or at tininfo@nsdl.co.in. You can also call at 020-2721-8080 and get your issue addressed.

Rightly said by Ashish Ji but i just want to add a little in that also as you can go on with a letter along with the acknowledgement of the return and submit the same in your jurisdictional ward, may be that will be more beneficial to you.

nsdl already carried out correction as confirmed through their call centre in the gender but the data base with income tax deptt. yet to be corrected, In this regard I personally met in my ward and submitted application for correction of gender as same is already done in my PAN, but no action so far.
