If someone forms company of various services like mobile recharge, Bus booking, Money Transfer, Railway booking, flight booking then is the company liable to pay service tax?
Are there any slabs of turnover or something like if the turnover is more than 9 lakh than only company is liable to collect and pay the service tax.
one more thing what is the rate of service tax to be charged from customer?

06-Feb-2015 , 12:13:24 pmYes there is slab of Rs. 900000/- for all the service providers. Moreover in mobile recharge, we are not liable to pay service tax, as the company itself have to pay. 12.36% is the rate

06-Feb-2015 , 06:01:18 pmOnce value of service provided by you exceeds Rs. 900000/- you have to obtain service tax registration and liable to pay service tax on services exceeding Rs. 1000000/-.
