MY CLINT IS REGISTERED UNDER CENTRAL EXCISE AS MANUFACTURER UNDER BRAND NAME. THEY RECEIVE GTA SERVISES. IS IT NEECESSARY FOR THEM TO REGISTERED UNDER SERVICE TAX LAWS.

Dear Pawan, Yes it mandatory to register your client in service tax as well specially for GTA service apart from the fact that he is already registered in Excise.
