Please Help: Special Economic Zone (service tax, VAT Gujarate)

Dear experts, our have construction company. which work in SEZ area in gujarat state .we are basically sub contractor provide service in SEZ area gujarat to main contractor. our have also another project in gujarat, which comes under outside the SEZ area. Now my question is that IS service tax exempt from tax. Is Vat also exempt from tax.... please also give me related documents. thanks in advance.
