articleship helps you get experience and well versant with the practical life that a ca leads. no experience is ever wasted. to whatever you learn during this phase it helps you in your studies as well as getting jobs in the industry...

Articleship training is the first step to get knowledge for prctical professional life..... then start next process after qualification, so yes required to select good CA firm according to requirement

Yes of course it helps in getting a good job in future, in fact nowadays ca articles who have done dummy are not preferred anywhere for jobs, without articleship u wont get practical exposure which is required the most for a good job..so no doubt..getting a good job is directly correlated with having done articleship from a good CA Firm.

Yes for sure. . Think about a situation where you appear for an interview for the post of a CA, all the candidates there will have the same degree. . The only differentiating factor will be your articleship exposure at industry level. So it a yes yes in any case. .

14-Feb-2012 , 01:30:44 pmIf your main intention is to get a job in future then you should try to get article ship under a reputed firm. This will surely help while applying for a job in future and would enhance your job prospects. Moreover, by working in a reputed firm, you would be able to get a better idea about the corporate life style and the practices. However, you wont be getting much exposure in much areas as in big firms there is departmentation of various areas like audit, tax, etc. and you will be kept in one department during your articleship period. Doing articleship under a CA Firm has its own pros and cons. All the best!!
