Please Help: Issuance Of F-forms (Delhi)

Can the F-FORMS issued by vat authority for the 1st time to the company be issued to any other person other then the director. If Yes then what is the procedure.

Section 6A(1) of the Central Sales Tax Act, 1956 read with Rule 12(5) of Central Sales Tax (Registration & turnover) Rules, 1957 provides that where a registered dealer claims that the inter-state movement of goods is for reason other that sale (e.g. stock transfer), the registered dealer is required to furnish Form 'F' to the assessing authority. Further, in case of Delhi, the procedure and authority from whom the same can be obtained in mentioned in Rule 8 of Central Sales Tax (Delhi) Rules, 2005. Further, the Form can be issued to any person representing the Company.

14-Sep-2011 , 03:55:01 pmIf any person other than the director of the company want to get 'F' form issued then for such purpose a power of attorney/ board resolution authorizing such person in this regard shall be made in favor of such person. Only thereafter he can get the forms issued.
