For December Quarter ending revised t0 17.02.2012 and physical copy can file by 22.02.2012

28-Jan-2012 , 12:17:06 pmDear Pankaj, a VAT dealer in Delhi should file its quarterly return electronicaly by 25 th of the month following that quarter [ refer DAVT notification 651 dated 18/12/07 read with section 26(2) of the DVAT Act] and in addition is required to file hard copy of the return by 28th of the month following that quarter [section 26(1) + rule 26 (3)(c )]. Therefore, filing of both the returns are mandatory. However, for the Quarter ending 31 december 2011, the said period has been extended. Electronic return should be filed by 10th Feb and hard copy return by 13th feb [refer CIRCULAR NO. 16 of 2011-12 No.F. 7 (420) /policy /VAT/2011/1180-87 Dated : 23rd January, 2012 ].
