The RESUME is a tool with one specific purpose to win an interview.A RESUME is an advertisement, nothing more, nothing less. It presents you in the best light. It convinces the employer that you have what it takes to be successful in this new position or career.
It is so pleasing to the eye that the reader is enticed to pick it up and read it. It stimulates interest in meeting you and learning more about you. It inspires the prospective employer to pick up the phone and asked you to come in for interview.
Reasion to have a RESUME :
- To give basic facts which might favourably influence the employer
- To provide contact information: an up-to-date address and a telephone number
- To provide background information
- To put in an employer’s personnel files

Words like prepared, managed, developed, championed, monitored, and presented will cause your resume to stand out
- Highlight Your Strengths=>
What is most relevant to the potential employer? Put the strong and most relevant points first where they are most apt to be read.
- Match The Need They Have=>
Use the keywords listed in these ads and match them with bullets points in your resume.
- Be positive=>
Above all in your resume and interview- you must be positive. Therefore leave off negative and irrelevant points
