2Talk less, and listen more. Yes, good conversation skills can go a long way. Be polite when you are talking to others and try to always listen intently. By listening to those you talk to it shows that you care about what they are saying. Try to speak about yourself less and focus on creating a great conversation. You may end up with a great new friend or future spouse.

3Be trustworthy. It is very important to be trustworthy if you are wishing to be a nice person. You must show people that they can trust you no matter what. People will begin to come to you for advice and sometimes just to vent. You can not tell lies and spread rumors, ever. A nice person would never betray a friend or spread rumors, so be cautious of what you say.
-
4If you must ask for something, make sure you ask. Never bully someone into giving you what you want. This will give the impression that you believe you are 'superior' above others. You do not want to set this impression, so be sure to be gracious when asking things from others.
-
5Watch what you're saying! Even if you just want to make a joke or have a conversation, you can't talk badly about any person or be perverted, because that is definitely not nice and will make someone upset or uncomfortable. Sometimes, you might not know what is coming out of your mouth or you think it's funny, but it is not and sometimes that person may laugh, but in his/her heart she/he is deeply hurt and may not think you are a nice person.

6Remember to always treat people the way you would like to be treated. When you fully respect others dignity's, then automatically more people see you as a nice, caring, and considerate friend.
