Suggestions invited for the 4th Tranche of Draft Rules under the Companies Act 2013 This Phase Covers the IEPF Authority
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has invited suggestions/ comments for the 4th tranche of Draft Rules being framed under the Companies Act, 2013. November 5, 2013 has been fixed as the last date for submission of suggestions/ comments. In this phase Draft Rules have been framed for the creation of an Investor Educations and Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority.
The Ministry has already invited suggestions/ comments from the public for the first, second and 3rd tranche of Draft Rules. The last date for giving suggestions/ comments for the 1st and 2nd tranche of Draft Rules has expired; but the deadline for giving suggestions/ comments for the 3rd tranche of Draft Rules is also 5th November 2013.
All the Draft Rules put out for public comments, as also the Companies Act, are available on the website of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
