CMII organised 7th ICAI award function, followed by Adnan Sami Night at Sri Fort Auditorium on 11th January, 2014. Our Correspondent has reported that it seemed a PERSONAL FUNCTION OF CHAIRMAN CMII RATHER THEN FUNCTION OF ICAI CMII COMMITTEE.
It appears in the name of the function for member in industry, the Chairman CMII is doing his personal brand building by sending invitation to his nears and dears. If this is not the case, why large section of the members, who are in industry are not aware about this program, and did not get any invitation.
Our Reporter from Siri Fort Auditorium reported that Many of Non CA's, CA Students, and even Family Member, relatives of Council Members were present there who had occupied most of the VIP seats whereas Members of ICAI were standing in the back. Many Students from Faridabad been there on the personal invitation of CMII Chairman. One of the Student (Girl) told our reporter "Muzhe Samaz nahi aaya, why we are called in SAARI"
Many members have confirmed receipt of 3-4 invitation cards. A large section of the member in industry are complaining of not receiving any invitation from this committee, which is primarily for member in industry.
Our Correspondent reported that all other Council Members were ignored during the function except Chairman CMII, President and Vice President,CC Members role was just to announce the name of Prize winner and for Group Photo Graph.
